WOWT Food Drive Wraps Up Friday

The final day to donate to the sixth annual WOWT (Cox Channel 8) Holiday Food Drive is Friday.

Non-perishable food items can be dropped off at Baker's Supermarkets in the Omaha metropolitan area. The donations will be used to stock the shelves of the Omaha Food Bank.

As of Tuesday, more than 12,450 pounds of food had been collected.

Monetary contributions are also being accepted. Collection jars are located at Baker's cash registers. Donors also have the opportunity to win a $100 Baker's Gift Card.

WOWT will not offer drive-through collection on the final day of the drive, as it has done in previous years.
