Creighton Game Thursday Will Be Shown By Cox

Creighton pictureThe Creighton men's basketball team's game Thursday against Valparaiso in Honolulu will be televised live on Cox Channel 2. Tipoff is scheduled for 11:30 p.m. Central Daylight Time.

Honolulu TV station KFVE (My Network)/KHNL (NBC) and LeSEA Broadcasting Group in Honolulu are partnering with Cox to provide coverage that is dependent upon the Bluejays winning.

If Creighton is victorious over Valparaiso Thursday night, its second round game Friday night and third-round game Saturday night will also be shown on Cox Channel 2. If the Bluejays lose to Valparaiso, there will be no television coverage of Creighton's games Friday or Saturday.

KFVE's Jim Leahey (play-by-play) and Artie Wilson (analysis) will call the action.

Fans outside the Omaha metropolitan area or non-Cox Communication subscribers can watch Thursday's game on the web, courtesy of the University of Hawaii. The cost is $9.95. So the Nebraska games aren't going to be on just Creighton?

That's correct. Nebraska won't be on TV, just on the webcast.
