KXSP (590 AM) listeners are being invited to vote for the "Hottest Local News Chick" as part of Big Sports 590's annual "Biggie Awards."Afternoon sports talk personality Matt Perrault originated the award last year, which WOWT (Cox Channel 8) morning news anchor Malorie Maddox somewhat hesitantly accepted after narrowly beating out KETV (Cox Channel 9) anchor/reporter Brandi Petersen.
Petersen (No. 306) and Maddox (No. 328) are both listed on Wanderlist's sexiest female news anchors worldwide.

Just another example of just how shoddy this guy is when it comes to doing sports talk radio.
He's either discriminating against some of the reporters or he's too lazy to look up all the names of female TV reporters.
Is Matt Perrault (and Travis Justice) the best Big Sports 590 can do? I'd imagine they're getting creamed in the ratings.

perrault is a tool. i've met him. he thinks he's a big shot. he should try the world of fashion b/c he sure doesn't cut in the world of sports.

Matt's interviews with Barry Hinson are priceless! There's nothing I look forward to listening to more than the head coach of Missouri State on for no apparent reason...NOW THAT'S GOOD RADIO!
People don't dislike Perrault just because he's not from around here. He's just bad.
Perrault + Justice = absolutely terrible radio.

Matt is terrible. Constantly spewing incorrect information. I will never forget his insistance that college players could only redshirt their freshman year. If you are a sports person shouldnt you know this basic rule? Too many second rate interviews - look at the local press he has on? Kugler gets the OWH and Lincoln Journal.I think Journal must have run a contaest to find who they could get for the cheapest coin. The only value his show serves is for a station switch while Kugler is on commercial break.

I tuned into his show tonite and he said over and over how he doesn't watch local news. How can he possible comment on local sports if he's not watching them?
I thought it was great radio the other day. I personally thought Carrie Stowell should have won the hottest award but we don't lose with any of the women. I guess I should have called in!
