KMTV (Cox Channel 5) will stream live coverage of the Creighton University men's basketball team's press conference today on its website, Action3News.com.The press conference originates from New Orleans and begins at 12:05 p.m. The Jays will play their opening round NCAA Tournament game at 1:50 p.m. on Friday.

It's 2:45 on Friday, Hey CBS (Can't Broadcast Sports), let's switch from the Creighton game to watch Wisconsin and the others and away from the local game. WHat ever happened to the split screen. CBS sucks. Can't blame KMTV for a horrible network (oh, wait, they used to be the NBC affiliate)!!!!!
Some observations from the NCAA coverage:
1) A "wag of the finger" to KMTV for taking the HDTV coverage of the Creighton game just to run a crawl promoting its overblown post-game coverage. If you need to do it, wait until the commercials.
2) KOZN 1620, our only source for radio coverage of the event, broke away from an exciting coverage of the Oregon's first round game to go to ESPN Radio. It was obviously a computer error. And, then, 1620 didn't join the next game until 15 minutes into the action.
