And yet they managed to spell Duchesne correctly.

The editor in charge that day cares more about Duchesne than accuracy in other areas.

The man who reads nothing at all is better educated than the man who reads nothing but newspapers." (Thomas Jefferson the 3rd President of the US 1743-1826) The Omaha World Herald newspaper since the conversion to the new presses, has become comical in its display of type and story appearance and progression. It appears also that the Blogger is one of the last bastions of Freedom of Speech, because the World Herald does not subscribe to it. It amazes me how they can let Tristan Bonn enjoy the opinion page, about costs to Omaha residents for the way police are assigned to districts, but is not required to provide cost figures for her opinion. Further her claim that if the Police Chief was able to assigne rookies where he wants them, that Omaha would not have had a officer with a unusual sexual appetite commit a crime. She further editorialized that Omaha would not have had an officer over taser a person who was swallowing the drug evidence. We cannot speculate on the officers intentions, but we can assure ourselves that, the officer did not have a citizen of Omaha die of a drug overdose, because he knew the consequences for tasering.

Without a doubt, Jefferson was 33 years old when he saw America's birth, even then he saw the reservations of the newspapers, and it is as true to-day as it was in 1775. Thank you for reading this Blog.
