KMTV Website Gets A Makeover

KMTV WebsiteThe new look of KMTV's website, action3news.com, is much cleaner and user-friendly than its predecessor.

The site is produced in cooperation with WorldNow, which works with more than 250 media outlets nationwide.

In addition to revamping the website's interface, the site also features new pictures of anchors and reporters.

I'm hoping that Channel 3 will set the example and not do what channels 6 and 7 do, which is majorly annoying, and that is to tease the viewers on the air and tell them to go to the web site for the rest of the story.

If I wanted to read news on the web, I would read news on the web. I tune in to the newscast expecting to hear the news, not to hear a URL to visit.

Now if Action 3 can quit shoving their two new (and very awkward) anchors down our throats and get Kerri Stowell back in there to do her job. Is there anything more uncomfortable than watching Wang and Chacceto stand together before a newscast?

I like the new Action3news website... it actually has more news on it than omaha.com. Way to go!

Wang needs to eat something. She looks too thin and she needs to slow down when talking. It's like she's on speed or something.

I think Trav gets larger every day. I think Wang gets thinner every day. I think Stowell gets prettier every day!

Let me preface this by stating that the following is not a personal attack; this is a factual account of events.

Travis Justice has a learning disability. The man has difficulty spelling and speaking, and is too proud to reveal this. Unfortunately, others take his misspellings and stuttering commentary as the rantings of a blithering idiot.

The next time you are at the supermarket, please be sure to put some change in the collection jar for those less fortunate with communication, and think of Travis when you do so.
